Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Bell Person to greet guests at the hotel entrance, assist with luggage, escort guests to rooms, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.

This role requires endurance to stand long hours, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to work varied shifts including holidays. Growth opportunities include advancing to Concierge or Guest Services Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous customer experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage carts.
• Tag and store luggage.
• Escort guest to hotel rooms.
• Provide overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms.
• Assist guests with room changes.
• Stock pantry when necessary.
• Maintain lists/brochures of local attractions and transportation guides.
• Perform house attendant functions when staff shortages occur.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
