Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL is looking for a courteous Bell Desk Attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, guide them to rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.

You will escort guests, support shuttle or valet services when available, handle requests, and coordinate with the concierge team to arrange transportation, dining, and activities while maintaining a neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Assist guests with luggage, guiding them to their rooms and providing any needed assistance.
• Deliver and retrieve guest items promptly and efficiently.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and hotel amenities.
• Assist with parking and retrieving guest vehicles as required (if valet services are offered).
• Handle guest requests for additional services, such as arranging transportation or providing recommendations for local dining and activities.
• Maintain a neat and organized bell desk, ensuring that all necessary equipment is readily available.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management if necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage at the hotel entrance or transportation area.
• Provide support to the concierge team as needed, assisting with reservations or guest inquiries.
