Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys seeks a friendly Bellperson to assist guests with luggage, greet arrivals, and guide them to rooms and amenities throughout their stay. You will support the concierge team, coordinate wake-up calls and reservations, and help ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-supported from arrival onward.

Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. A high school diploma is preferred, and you must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of the Florida Keys area preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Assist guests with luggage, guide them to their rooms, and provide support.
• Deliver and retrieve guest items promptly and efficiently.
• Provide information about resort facilities, amenities, and local attractions.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain key features and amenities.
• Assist with parking and valet services as needed.
• Handle guest requests including transportation and dining recommendations.
• Maintain a neat bell desk and organize equipment.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading luggage at entrances or transportation areas.
• Protect guest belongings and ensure security.
• Support wake-up calls and room service coordination for guests.
• Assist the concierge team with reservations and inquiries.
