Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service to travelers, thoroughly clean and stock the outlet, process payments, and prepare and serve quality food. You will assist in meeting customers' needs across a busy travel plaza environment.

The role requires flexibility to work various days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover POS operation, food safety, and product knowledge to ensure consistent brand standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers and customers.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Maintain proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, checking temps.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell/up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
