Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Team Member to deliver warm, friendly customer service to travelers and guests. You will handle payments, prepare and serve food, and support daily operations at our travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest.

Responsibilities include POS transactions, food safety, stock management, and cross-selling products while maintaining brand standards and a positive, collaborative spirit in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers and guests.
• Operate the POS system, process payments accurately, and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow food safety procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
