Job summary

Cinemark Team Members create a welcoming environment for our Guests. A Team Member is quick, accurate, and knowledgeable about movies, events, pricing, promotions, etc.

The role may include Usher, Box Office or Concession duties as staffing needs require and the individual must perform essential functions of these positions. Responsibilities include greeting Guests, operating the POS, verifying tickets, providing information, and maintaining a safe, clean theatre.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local/state certification where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with all ages; English proficiency required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register.
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium.
• Ensures tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA policy and company rules.
• Provides pricing, movie info, and special event details.
• Responds to calls/questions from Guests in a professional manner.
• Maintains theatre cleanliness and safety throughout the venue.
• Performs opening/closing duties as directed by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
