Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This role emphasizes customer service excellence, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time schedule expected, with responsibilities including unloading trucks and assisting in stock replenishment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
