Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the cash register while keeping the store stocked and presentable.

This part-time role emphasizes friendly interactions, accuracy at the register, and daily housekeeping tasks in a busy retail environment. Candidates should be prepared to lift items and follow store procedures to maintain safety and service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
