Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store well-stocked and organized.

This part-time role requires excellent communication, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs while moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment; professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
