Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is hiring at our Auburn, CA location for a team member to deliver exceptional guest service, operate POS with accuracy, and maintain store standards. You will handle cash, assist with food preparation, keep the store clean, stock shelves, and support marketing programs while adhering to CSI safety and loss prevention policies.

Applicants should be able to work varied shifts, maintain professionalism, and follow local food handling regulations.

Qualifications

• Must understand CSI policies, safety training, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate transactions and containment of loss.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (location-specific).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and greet customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all POS activities accurately and safely per CSI guidelines.
• Maintain cash drawer and reconcile at shift end.
• Perform station cleaning of indoor/outdoor areas including restrooms and pumps.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC foodservice.
• Actively promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check delivered goods for price accuracy.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and organized throughout the store.
• Observe local laws when fueling vehicles (Oregon only).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
