Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Hamden, CT to drive top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, handle the POS, maintain cash and inventory, and assist with vendor interactions and merchandising projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly guest service and handling routine transactions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Wamiliarity with basic store operations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping and replenish products to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Support GSA new hire onboarding and training.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
