Job summary

Global Partners LP in Waterford, CT is hiring a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support day-to-day store operations.

Greet guests, operate the POS, restock, perform housekeeping, and follow safety, security, quality, and policy procedures.

This role requires flexible hours, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs; join a Fortune 500 company focused on customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Able to operate POS and handle cash accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping duties and stock replenishment.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Assist with gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may NOT use OSHA-approved knives.
• Be available for flexible day, night, weekend, or holiday shifts.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Work in temperatures outside, in coolers, etc.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access all store areas including selling floor, stock, and register.
• Count, read and write accurately for required paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.
