Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly while providing friendly service at the register or self-checkout.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with hands-on training and internal promotion opportunities. Prior retail or guest-focused experience is a plus, and you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration and guest

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or in progress.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May require food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously to both.
• Operate the register or self-checkout and handle transactions accurately.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas to keep products available.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in food prep areas and follow safety regulations.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers when needed.
