Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment. You will assist at the register or self-checkout, upsell products, and help ensure a clean, stocked store.

The role encourages growth from within and offers flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided to help you succeed in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Clean, safe, and full cleans inside and outside the store.
• Stock shelves and coolers; maintain food/beverage areas to quality standards.
• Update prices and signage reflecting monthly promotions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach during shifts.
• Keep gasoline price signs up-to-date outside the store.
