Job summary

H&S Energy Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will handle cashiering, maintain presentation, ensure food and beverage quality, and promote a safe, welcoming environment.

You will interact with customers, share product knowledge, apply promotions, manage cash and POS duties, and uphold health, safety, and quality standards across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism at checkout.
• Deliver accurate, friendly service at checkout and maintain a positive attitude.
• Follow the Four Steps of Customer Service with every interaction to achieve satisfaction.
• Communicate promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for all transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, receipts, refunds, and exchanges per policy.
• Maintain store presentation, signage, and pricing accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain food and beverage stations (coffee, fountain, etc.).
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility including restrooms and fueling area.
• Assist with car wash operations if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
