Job summary

Sightglass Coffee Roasters Llc in California is seeking a friendly Cashier/Floor Staff to guide guests through the ordering process, pull selections from the case, and accurately ring up orders on our handheld POS while maintaining a welcoming dining room.

You will clear and reset tables, assist guests on all phases of the dining experience, and stay knowledgeable about the menu to suggest pairings. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for customer service and ability to maintain service standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multi-tasker with attention to detail in a bustling setting.
• Ability to memorize ingredient lists for dietary restrictions/allergies.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the ordering process at the counter.
• Ring up orders using the handheld POS.
• Maintain the dining room by clearing and bussing tables.
• Attend to guests seated in the dining room and ensure their needs are met.
• Update seating chart as guests choose tables and coordinate with team.
• Assist other stations and uphold cleanliness and food safety standards.
