Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking a Storefront Associate (Barista/Cashier) in California. You will greet guests, assist with product selection, and operate the POS system to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Cross-training in cashier, bar, and bread areas is available and encouraged. Weekend availability is strongly preferred; prior retail/foodservice experience and a team-oriented attitude help you excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, fast, and memorable customer service.
• Greeting guests and assisting with product selection.
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
