Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Guest Service Associate in Willington, CT. You will greet guests, provide an enjoyable shopping experience, and support store operations to ensure safety and quality.

You will also manage the POS, cash handling, and replenishment while collaborating with management and vendors to meet guest needs. This role requires flexibility for day, night, weekend shifts and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs; reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
