Job summary

Global Partners LP in Wilton, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive a top‑notch guest experience while supporting store‑level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, uphold safety and cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist management with vendor coordination.

The role requires flexibility for day/evening shifts, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed. Training and onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (outdoors, cooler).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to count, read and write for required paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels as applicable.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns with management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
