Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Security Greeter to welcome guests and assist with directions and questions. The role includes promoting casino information, monitoring entry and alcohol policies, and reporting suspicious behavior to Security.

Responsibilities include ID checks for age, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to all policies. The position requires 21+ and California RBS training upon hire, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required upon hire.
• Must be age 21 years or older.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally in English.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with good interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours during the day or evening including weekends, holidays, and all blackout dates.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and Team Members entering the casino with a friendly attitude.
• Answers Guests’ questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Acts as ambassador and communicates information about promotions, events, club benefits, all gaming area locations, restaurants, and VOC information.
• Informs Guests that alcohol cannot enter and/or exit the Casino and Resort.
• Notifies Security of intoxicated guests or suspicious activity.
• Checks identification of patrons for age requirements for gaming and alcohol purchase.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
