Job summary

Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians operates Viejas Casino & Resort in California and is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets, guests, and team members. You will patrol casino floors, enforce rules, prepare written reports, and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

You will respond to emergencies, assist with investigations, and ensure access control while maintaining a professional, high-pressure environment. Veterans and qualified applicants encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a GED or higher, valid Guard Card, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required upon hire.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for reports and briefing executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment while patrolling casino floors.
• Warn and apprehend violators and report incidents to law enforcement as needed.
• Inspect equipment for tampering and monitor security doors and access controls.
