Job summary

Rapport Guest Services is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to warmly check-in guests, escort them to destinations, and support conference center operations. You will follow security procedures, handle daily reception tasks, and serve as a key liaison for client events.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, proactive communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment at our Austin site.

Responsibilities

• Speak freely and warmly with clients and guests while checking them in at the Reception Desk or escorting them.
• Follow all security procedures and ensure visitors are properly registered.
• Escort visitors to meeting spaces after security screening and IBM approval.
• Act as first point of contact for emergencies and liaise with staff as needed.
• Conduct daily reception inspections and ensure conference rooms are ready with materials.
• Respond to requests via in-person, Slack or email and manage on-floor conference room activities.
