Job summary

Signia by Hilton San Jose is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, issue keys and provide welcome materials, while sharing local knowledge to enhance stays.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months of hotel front desk experience and schedule flexibility, including overnights, weekends and holidays. Upsell opportunities and prompt responses to guest needs are a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Flexibility for shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out, issuing keys and welcome materials.
• Handle payments, verify charges, and process transactions accurately at the POS.
• Provide knowledge about hotel offerings and local attractions to guests.
• Upsell hotel amenities to maximize revenue and enhance guest experience.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns with urgency and care.
