Job summary

Target is seeking a friendly Guest Advocate to help guests in our store. You will greet customers, guide them to products and services, and promote Target's loyalty programs and digital features such as Order Pick-Up and Drive Up.

You will contribute to a fast-paced, safe, and welcoming store environment. The role emphasizes communication, problem solving, teamwork, and flexibility, including nights, weekends and peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Familiar with loyalty programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues for guests.
• Thank guests and explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, following safety standards.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain features of the Target App and how to use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering.
• Assist guests with returns and follow store policies in collaboration with leadership.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during open hours.
• Demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance in all tasks.
