Job summary

Compass Group, North America is seeking a Guest Experience Ambassador for the DC area to support client relations within Rapport, a division of FLIK Hospitality Group.

The role involves coordinating communications, preparing materials, and assisting regional teams. It offers growth opportunities within a global hospitality network and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience reading and interpreting safety rules and procedures.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Experience speaking effectively before groups of managers.
• Experience reading financial documents and performing calculations.
• Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and materials for regional communications.
• Coordinate conference calls, regional meetings, and trainings.
• Process expense reports, payables, and e-transfers where needed.
• Maintain regional staff/client/unit directory databases.
• Support payroll issues and assist with new unit openings.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare presentations (Power Point, financial book, hard copy, drafting documents...)Supports & participated in communication throughout the regionResearch projects/compilation as neededArrange and coordinate conference calls, region meetings and training sessionsPrepare and process expense reports, payables, credit card statements and e-transfersPrepare/maintain regional staff/client/unit directory databaseWork with Compass payroll and maintain "MAP" Manager Access to Personnel to resolve payroll issuesAssist with new unit openings & corp. branded programs as neededParticipate in Be-A-Star as chairperson for regionComplete all daily, weekly or monthly reports on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlinesAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsPerforms any other duties as assigned by regional teamdardized situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
• Experience speaking effectively before groups of managers
• Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
• Experience in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Experience in operating a standard computer, including basic use of MS applications such as Excel and Word and PowerPoint
