Job summary

Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle billing and reservations. You’ll need strong attention to detail and the ability to work at a fast pace in a busy hotel environment.

Daily tasks include posting charges, managing reservations, and assisting guests with inquiries while maintaining excellent service standards and professionalism across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented and focused on delivering great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in/out promptly and professionally.
• Post charges accurately for hotel charges.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office systems and daily transactions.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card information securely.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts, and cancellation/relocation procedures.
• Take same-day reservations quickly and follow procedures.
