Job summary

Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club is seeking a Server Assistant to join our fast-paced dining team at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara. This non-exempt role offers $17.00/hour plus a tip pool and overtime eligibility.

You will support servers, clear and reset tables, keep stations stocked, and help deliver a polished guest experience for Members and Guests.

The position requires flexibility, weekend/holiday availability, and a California Food Handler Card; experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a valid California Food Handler Card.
• RBS certification required if applicable to the role.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
• The Club complies with California meal and rest break requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for Members and Guests from the moment they arrive
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas efficiently
• Ensure tables are perfectly set and presentation standards are maintained throughout service
• Keep service stations stocked, organized, and ready for a seamless dining experience
• Anticipate guest needs by refilling water, assisting with requests, and communicating with the service team
• Maintain clean, polished dining areas, side stations, and service equipment
• Learn Club menus, service standards, and procedures to confidently support the team
• Communicate member requests and feedback to servers, kitchen staff, and managers
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Club service standards
• Assist with special events and other operational needs as required
