Job summary

Stonebridge in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to ensure smooth check-in/check-out, maintain guest records, and deliver outstanding service at the front desk.

You will verify guest credit, handle payments, post charges, coordinate with housekeeping, and assist guests with reservations. This full-time role reports to the Front Office Manager and requires strong customer service, cash handling, and PMS experience.

Qualifications

• Experience at a hotel front desk or guest service is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with property management systems and basic office software.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and basic bookkeeping.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests on arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods.
• Maintain accurate room availability and guest accounts in PMS.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
• Balance cash accounts and perform basic bookkeeping.
• Issue room keys and assist bell attendants.
• Review charges with guests during check-out.
• Post charges to ledgers and communicate guest messages.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on issues.
• Make and confirm reservations and answer service inquiries.
