The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, Huntington Beach, seeks a Front Desk/Guest Services agent to check guests in and out, handle payments, and assist with directions. You will greet guests, answer questions about local attractions, and resolve issues with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hospitality experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
• You're highly creative, with strong interpersonal skills!
• Professional phone etiquette, writing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out all guests to ensure guest satisfaction; handle simple to complex calculations including credit cards and cash; greet and assist guests with directions to their room, meeting or event.
• Entertains questions from guests and responds with appropriate and accurate information on topics such as outlet hours, local attractions, directions to events, etc.
• Fields guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiates results; listens and extends assistance to resolve problems like price conflicts or heating/cooling issues; remains calm during emergencies and busy resort activity; plans and executes steps using judgment and discretion.
• Maintains appearance of resort lobby, removes trash, arranges furniture; other duties as assigned by Management.
