Job summary

The Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a friendly restaurant guest services assistant to welcome guests, seat them, and present menus. You will read and log daily communications, maintain dining room setup, and coordinate reservations and special events with management.

This role requires English communication, composure under pressure, polished phone etiquette, organization, and a willingness to learn; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Restaurant greeter experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly with guests and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Professional and polished phone etiquette.
• Well organized with attention to detail and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating, escort to table and present menu.
• Read, maintain and log daily communications to coordinate between shifts and management.
• Keep dining room set up, enforce grooming standards, and assign stations to staff.
• Receive, record and arrange reservations and special events for the restaurant.
• Perform opening and closing duties and assist with side work such as cleaning and stocking.
