Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) to help guests have a positive shopping experience. The role emphasizes flexibility, shift picking via the myTime app, reliable attendance, and active engagement with customers and teammates.

You will support guest services across order pickup, drive-up, and registry, while guiding guests through loyalty programs and app features. Training will be provided to ensure readiness for busy store environments.

Responsibilities

Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
Help guests find what they need or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
Support peers and de-escalate situations while following company policies.
Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately.
Inform guests about current brand launches and store activities.
Explain and assist with Target Loyalty benefits and wallet features.
Handle returns per procedures and escalate when needed.
