Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member. This role offers a flexible schedule with shifts posted by leaders or team members via the myTime app. You choose shifts and commit to attendance, with minimum engagement requirements to remain active.

As a Guest Advocate, you will help guests, operate POS systems, explain loyalty offerings, and support orders and pickup services while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service mindset and communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to learn quickly and use store tech and apps.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the Target service standard.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks to create a welcoming experience.
• Assist guests with questions, product locations, and service options.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest needs.
• Explain Target loyalty benefits and sign up guests when needed.
• Operate checkout and scanning processes accurately and efficiently.
• Support drive-up, order pickup, and registry services as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock shelves during shifts.
• Adhere to safety policies and demonstrate a culture of ethics and compliance.
