Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) to help guests, support store operations, and drive loyalty. The role offers a flexible schedule via the myTime app and requires reliable attendance and responsiveness to shift opportunities.

Training is provided to ensure you are prepared for your new role in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Guest Advocate, you will greet guests, assist with purchases and returns, and promote Target benefits while upholding service standards,

Qualifications

• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to stay calm and helpful in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
