Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to welcome guests, resolve issues, and promote loyalty programs. You will greet customers, assist with product searches, and ensure a quick, friendly shopping experience.

The right candidate will be versatile, able to work with team members, and comfortable using handheld scanners and other technology. Training is provided to develop skills for a meaningful frontline role.

Qualifications

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience.
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones and initiate a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
