Job summary

Avamere Court at Keizer is hiring a Guest Services Coordinator to create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. You will perform receptionist duties, support admissions, coordinate tours, and liaise with caregiving staff in a long-term care setting.

The role emphasizes administrative support, resident and family communications, and ensuring a smooth intake and ongoing satisfaction during the early weeks of residency.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a clerical position in a healthcare setting
• Must maintain and have active CPR/BLS during employment
• Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families and visitors warmly and assist with inquiries.
• Ensure sign-in/out compliance and coordinate room prep for new residents.
• Assist with admissions process and explain billing and facility procedures.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Facilitate introductions to caregivers and other departments.
• Provide regular check-ins during the initial weeks to ensure satisfaction.
