Avamere Court at Keizer is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator to create a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors. The role blends customer service with administrative support and coordination tasks to ensure a smooth experience for all entering the facility.

The position involves admissions support, tours for prospective residents, handling phone communications, and collaboration with care teams to ensure seamless service delivery during the Thursday–Saturday night shift.

Qualifications

• One or more years of clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
• CPR/BLS certification active during employment.
• Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greeting and assisting residents, families, and visitors, including providing directions and answering inquiries.
• Ensuring visitors adhere to facility policies and procedures, including signing in/out and coordinating with staff to prepare rooms for new residents and facilitating their smooth arrival.
• Assisting with the admissions process, including inquiries, paperwork, and explaining billing and facility procedures.
• Conducting facility tours for prospective residents and their families.
• Facilitating introductions to caregivers and other departments.
• Conducting post-admission satisfaction surveys and addressing initial questions or concerns.
• Providing regular check-ins during the initial weeks of a resident's stay to ensure satisfaction.
• Answering phones, managing resident call lists, and redirecting calls appropriately.
• Responding to general questions and concerns, providing information about facility services, and making recommendations.
• Documenting and escalating feedback and issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Handling and distributing mail and packages.
• Scheduling appointments for residents with medical staff or other professionals.
