Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers guest service that builds real connections and personal attention.
• Hand-crafts beverages and prepares food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferences.
• Switches between barista, greeter, and other shift roles as needed.
• Takes orders and manages the cash drawer following cash-handling, safety, and security standards.
• Keeps the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked to Caribou's standards for quality and safety.
• Anticipates Guest or teammate needs and acts proactively.
• Makes product-based recommendations to Guests grounded in knowledge.
• Knows when to escalate to a leader and asks for help when needed.
• Shows up on time and maintains reliable attendance.
• Upholds Core Values: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve with Love.
• Brings energetic and positive vibes to the shift and engages with Guests and teammates.
