Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server to delight guests by delivering food and beverages with courteous and timely service. You will greet guests, explain menu options, take orders, and process payments using our POS system in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a strong work ethic, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system.
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
