Job summary

Waterfront Rescue Mission in Mobile, AL seeks a Concierge Support role to greet guests, direct them, and assist with check-in/check-out while maintaining safety and order on site.

The role requires a Christian commitment, a high school diploma, and 0–2 years in related social work or concierge support, plus a valid driver's license. Training in de-escalation will be provided. Some travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have Christian commitment and embody WRM's values.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years in concierge or related social work.
• Willing to be trained in verbal and non-violent conflict de-escalation/resolution techniques; must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to sign WRM's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs ALL guests and clients to their destination in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintains situational awareness to identify safety hazards and campus concerns.
• Enforces access control and visitor management policies at intake/check-out locations.
• Adheres to WRM rules, procedures, policies and standards of conduct.
• Assists with client check-in/check-out processes and de-escalation of conflicts.
• Supports Mission operations and may travel for training or temporary duty.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Mission management.
