You will provide local recommendations, handle reservations, and help ensure a seamless stay with accurate cash handling and professional service.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel brand experience and/or customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check in/out with warmth, speed and accuracy.
• Be the go-to expert for local attractions, restaurants, and events, providing directions.
• Handle guest complaints with professional care and concern.
• Promote our franchise membership club and help guests secure future stays.
• If hotel is full, assist guests in finding lodging via referrals.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, balance shift reports.
• Take and record reservations, verify credit card validity, manage reservation status.
• Operate the switchboard and master computer operations, and maintain ADA box.
• Ensure lobby and office are clean and set up continental breakfast and coffee service.
• Report potential hazards and assist with safety procedures.
