Job summary

Mondrian South Beach is hiring a Bell Person to warmly greet guests, escort them to rooms, and assist with luggage. You will inform guests about safety features and hotel outlets, promote the Mondrian South Beach Preferred Guest Program, and help with baggage handling and transportation.

The role emphasizes guest comfort and seamless service in a dynamic hotel environment. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends, and strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Physically able to carry 75+ pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift.
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests to the hotel and escort them to their rooms.
• Escort guests to from their accommodations and assist with luggage.
• Inform guests of safety features and promote hotel outlets.
• Introduce Mondrian South Beach Preferred Guest Program to guests and recognize members.
• Store guest baggage upon request and assist with loading/unloading baggage.
• Transport guests and employees in the hotel’s limousine.
• Deliver packages and faxes to guests.
• Decorate the lobby for large arrivals and departures.
• Maintain cleanliness behind the bell stand, in the check-in/check-out area, and in the baggage room.
• Clean brass bell carts.
