Job summary

Gloucester County Institute of Technology seeks a certificated dance educator to collaborate with the instructor and develop original concert choreography aligned with CTE, NJ VPA, and industry standards. You will teach up to 10 minutes of choreography appropriate to student levels and contribute to rehearsals and performance readiness.

Qualifications

• Model professional rehearsal etiquette, time management, and collaboration.
• Provide technical and artistic feedback to students to support skill development and performance quality.
• Adapt choreography as needed based on student abilities, spacing, and rehearsal constraints.

• Communicate progress, scheduling needs, and artistic goals with the supervising dance educator.
• Maintain intellectual property rights for original choreography, while granting the school permission to rehearse and perform the work for educational and concert purposes, as agreed upon in advance
• Observe and follow all school policies, schedules, and student safety procedures.
