Target is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader in Salem, VA to drive guest service, lead a team of hourly associates and manage daily store operations. You will coach, schedule, and develop staff while ensuring merchandising, planograms and promotions align with store goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Target guest experience commitments with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Manage daily workload to meet store priorities and sales goals.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance and teamwork.
• Lead onboarding, training and scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and planograms.
• Collaborate with leaders and vendors to uphold brand standards.
• Actively participate in hiring and performance feedback processes.
• Support store operations, safety and compliance across shifts.
