Job summary

Responsibilities include taking calls, processing dine-in and takeout orders, relaying orders to the kitchen, suggesting drinks and desserts, and maintaining a welcoming dining room. Six months of restaurant experience and a Food Handler’s Permit are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly communicate both orally and written as required to serve guests and supervise dining room activities as needed.
• Understands basic math concepts as required to total costs and make change.
• Proficient use of restaurant equipment including headset, microphone and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests using Rib Crib greeting and six steps of service.
• Present menu, answer questions, and suggest menu items.
• Take call-in orders and assist with catering questions when necessary.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen.
• Totals bill and accept payment or direct to cashier.
• Clear and reset tables and assist with other duties as needed.
