Qualifications

• Must have ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Meets Denny's uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must be dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately in a friendly manner and seat them at clean, dry tables.
• Describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests; take initial beverage order.
• Assist service personnel and provide beverage orders and refills as needed.
• Handle cash, credit card and discount transactions according to policy.
• Operate the point of sale system and complete transactions accurately.
• Enter and deliver To Go orders correctly and address guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain the dining area and assist with side-work and table readiness.
• Adhere to brand standards and safety policies; provide courteous service to guests and team members.
