Job summary

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Lima is seeking a Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming face of our hotel, handling check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries with warmth.

This role offers $13–$15 per hour for the second shift (3PM–11PM) with both full-time and part-time options, plus benefits like employee discounts and room for growth.

You’ll need strong customer service, multitasking, PMS familiarity, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Basic to moderate computer proficiency, including email and internet navigation.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliably punctual.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in arriving guests, setting a friendly tone.
• Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations in the PMS.
• Answer calls and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Promote and enroll guests in hotel rewards programs.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating when needed.
• Balance daily accounts and perform end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Assist sales and revenue teams with group blocks and upselling.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk area.
