Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Parkside Cary seeks a courteous server to take food and beverage orders in person or by phone and to deliver meals with care.

You will set up tables, know menus, and maintain the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction while following safety and uniform standards.

Training covers hotel service standards and Marriott brand practices, with full competency targeted within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to read & write in English.

Responsibilities

• Take phone or in-person orders following hotel standards.
• Set up trays and tables with all necessary condiments and service needs.
• Serve food and beverages maintaining correct temperature and according to hotel standards.
• Be attentive to guest needs throughout service from start to finish of the process.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in dining and guest areas.
