Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking an engaged bartender to deliver an exceptional guest drinking experience by crafting classic and innovative beverages for our resort guests.

The bartender will greet guests, take drink orders, and work with servers or directly with guests to ensure timely and accurate service while maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere. Knowledge of menus, promotions, and resort amenities is expected.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience is required.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills are required.
• Positive interpersonal skills are essential for guest relations.
• Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages per standards.
• Ensure bar area is stocked and organized with tools and products.
• Prepare inventory or requisitions to replenish supplies.
• Serve snacks or food items at the bar when appropriate.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menus, products and promotions.
• Maintain a clean work area and provide resort information as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
