Job summary

AnMed Health in Anderson, SC seeks a part-time Patient Services Associate to provide outstanding customer service to patients and visitors at AnMed Health North Campus and AnMed Health Medical Center.

The 4pm–9pm shift (occasional weekends) requires the ability to sit, stand and walk up to eight hours, assist patients in and out of vehicles, and operate MS Word and email systems; CPR certification is offered.

A 0.6 FTE or higher benefits option may apply to the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of customer service or public-facing experience preferred.
• Healthcare, hotel, or service industry background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and guests at AnMed Health North Campus and AnMed Health Medical Center.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for up to eight hours.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles and push them in a wheelchair when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provideoutstanding customer service to patients, families, fellow employees and other guests at AnMed Health North Campus and AnMed Health Medical Center.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for up to eight hours.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles, which may include the use of assistive devices.
• Push patients in a wheelchair to their destination.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years' experience in the customer service field or working with the public.
• Prior employment in a health care facility, hotel or other service-related industry is desirable.
• Must be efficient at Microsoft Word, typing documents, speaking on the phone and utilizing the email system.
• Must be willing to become CPR certified (training provided by the department) and administer CPR and/or use AED device if needed.
