Starved Rock Lodge in Illinois is seeking an Activities Assistant to support planning and facilitating guest events, delivering exceptional customer service, and coordinating promotions. The role involves data entry for event details, POS reporting, and assisting with brochures and communications.

The position is part-time and requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and a people-oriented approach.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Two years of administrative support experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in teamwork and customer service.
People-oriented with upbeat attitude, in person and by phone.
Must be able to sit, walk and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning and facilitating activities and events for lodge guests, creating memorable experiences and providing excellent customer service.
Input information into the event planners database and assist with prospect mailings.
Data enter event details into POS and generate reports as requested.
Assist in production and distribution of promotional brochures.
Obtain information on upcoming guest reservations and email event details prior to arrival.
Greet guests, respond to requests for tickets and maintain a positive Lodge image.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
Assist in processing invoices for group events and check requests for vendors.
